Next 'Pirates' movie to be in 3-D? ÂºoÂº

The Hollywood Reporter is saying that "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" is going to be filmed in 3-D when it begins production this summer for release in 2011. I don't know about you, but I am excited to see Jack Sparrow on the big screen fighting my favorite pirate of all time, Blackbeard. It's going to be even better in 3-D1 What do you think?

Jack Sparrow in 3-d cool if he's like in alice then great maybe some cheesy effects would be cool though i mean i remember the day of friday the 13th pitch fork flying at you and all man do i miss those days or even the mechanical shark in 3 d

I think the 3-D effects give me a headache...so I'll likely see it in regular format anyway.

Interested to see how a 4th film comes out, though.

2D is fine with me as well. I can not see the 3D imagery.

3D really only works if the movie was filmed in 3D... the conversion process is ok, but doesn't hold a candle to when it is filmed in 3D. Perfect example: Avatar was filmed in 3D where as Clash of the Titans was filmed in 2D and converted into 3D.
