Samantha Brown visits Disney World again

Travel Channel darling Samantha Brown was in Orlando again last week apparently to film her 10th anniversary show. She was spotted taping with Donald Duck and a family at the Mexico pavilion at Epcot on Wednesday.

Disneyâ€™s four parks had a lot of their Christmas decorations up by that point, so I canâ€™t help but hope she might also be filming another Disney holiday special.

Walt Disney World Holidays with Samantha Brown, which first aired in 2003, is a must-see every December at our house. Sam gives viewers glimpses into how the holiday decorating is accomplished at Disney World without spoiling the magic for kids. And then she tours the parks and highlights favorite Christmas activities.
Disney Holiday Magic with Samantha Brown debuted in 2007, updating the previous show with a look at Hollywood Studiosâ€™ Osbourne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights, Epcotâ€™s Candlelight Processional, Disneyâ€™s Boardwalk Hotel, Disneyâ€™s Grand Floridian Hotel and Disneyâ€™s Wilderness Lodge.
Of course, the energetic host has filmed other specials at Disney, including a four-part series called Season of Disney that aired in April and May 2008. I know who that person is, but thought I would add my own pics also.

I worked on last year's Sam Brown's Favorites episode as well as the rest of Season of Disney. Luckily, I was able to fly down and observe the shoot (thanks to my awesome boss at the time). Here's a picture of me and and the production folk.

Samantha Brown is always fun to watch. Her energy and enthusiasm really make a destination inviting.

Actually the Christmas show is on right now, with a replay this afternoon at 4:00 PM est. This is being followed by several other Disney specials...

I've always liked all her shows, Disney or not. But, I hope all of you got to see the behind the scenes show on Home and Garden about the Christmas decorating at the parks. I think it was even better than any of the shows on the Travel Channel.
