For the longest time, it seemed like Disney was going to scale back their July 4 celebration stuff this year. Cut backs talked about included fireworks only at Epcot and MK (no DHS) and only on the 4th... Well most of this has changed and fireworks are back on for the 3rd and the 4th and a fireworks show for DHS has been added!
Now comes an announcement of more July 4th specific entertainment, specifically over at Epcot:
July 4 special entertainment offerings at The American Adventure pavilion at Epcot
Jun 29, 2009
IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth fireworks spectacular with special July 4 finale at 10 pm.
Voices of Liberty Fourth of July Concert at America Gardens Theater
An energetic cast of 18 Voices of Liberty members will present a July Fourth concert featuring stories and songs of America. Live shows are at 12:30pm, 1:45pm and 3pm.
Spirit of America Fife & Drum Corps
1pm, 2:15pm, 3:30pm, 4:05pm and 4:45pm.
Sounds Like Summer Concert Series featuring Slippery When Wet with “A Tribute to Bon Jovi" - 5:15 pm, 6:30pm, 7:45pm and 9pm.
Atmosphere Entertainment at The American Adventure pavilion
Benjamin Franklin
11:45am, 1pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm, 4:30pm and 5:30pm.
Betsy Ross
12:05pm, 12:50pm, 1:40pm, 3:50pm, 4:35pm, and 5:20pm.
Patriotic Characters (Mickey, Goofy, Donald)
4:10 pm and 4:50 pm
If we weren't going to Georgia with a couple hundred dollars worth of fireworks, we would totally be going to Epcot... I mean it is a Bon Jovi tribute band, how can you pass that up?!?! _________________ Up or Down North, South, East, or West An Adventurer's Life is Best!
The Betsy Ross, Ben Franklin walk a-rounds are a great idea I'd like to see them do more often than 7/4.
No reason they would not make a good addition to the pavilion, and you could do it with a slew of other characters including Twain or any of the founding fathers or their spouses.

Sounds like a great weekend. Maybe someday I'll make it to WDW for the 4th, although I hear the crowds are ridiculous.
Bruce, how many pints of Guinness will it take for you to light bottle rockets while holding them between your teeth? Let us know will you.
"Hey Bubba, hold my beer and watch this."
Bottle rockets are illegal in Georgia... so it would have to be a MASSIVE amount of Guinness _________________ Up or Down North, South, East, or West An Adventurer's Life is Best!
