Avril Dupe le Jour, Vice President of Walt Disney World Accommodations announced today that in light of the current economy woes, WDW will be introducing “Retro Rates” at a number of the Walt Disney World hotels. Among the hotels that will be offering reduced rate are:
Polyneasian Resort: $79.00 per night
All-Start Resorts: $39.00 per night
Animal Kingdom Lodge: $59.00 per night
These rates will be offered from April 3rd through April 10th 2009.
Ms. Dupe le Jour stated that in order to help people with celebrations throughout the year, it’s important to also help them save to make that magic happen. _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

If the rates had been for the following week beginning on April 11th
I would have been much happier.
But I'll be in WDW that followig week so what;s not to be Happy about. |

That Ms. Dupe le Jour can be one cruel mistress...
First she does this to me...http://www.thinkgeek.com/stuff/41/tauntaun.html
And now she does this with her retro Poly rooms rates.
What on earth is next?

The rates are real good...but seriouslt, who can drop everything the week before Easter with only 48 hours of notice.
Makes me think of how my nephew plays with the catnip toy and my cat. And then he wonders why he gets scratched! |

Well everyone, based upon your concerns for this great offer and no real time to prepare for it, I actually called WDW and was able to talk to Ms. Dupe le Jour.
While we discussed the promotion, I became curious about the origin of her name. She informed me that Avril is French for April and Dupe le Jour is French for Fools Days....
so I guess I can stop typing now.....

Hey Raven, and and other Star Wars fans,
Think Geek recently posted this about the Tauntaun Sleeping Bag, so you never know...!
ATTN Tauntaun Fanatics! Due to an overwhelming tsunami of requests from YOU THE PEOPLE, we have decided to TRY and bring this to life. We have no clue if the suits at Lucasfilms will grant little ThinkGeek a license, nor do we know how much it would ultimately retail for. But if you are interested in ever owning one of these, click the link below and we'll try!
The link is on the same page as I posted before, over on the right hand side, incase anyone is interested.
And I thought the smelt bad on the outside... |

And after a certain wedding I went to, I know how good you are with French. I'm surprised we still have diplomatic relations with Canada after that. _________________ [ |

Translation is easy, speaking it is where my troubles are!
But hey, even though the words were not perfect, everyone appreciated the effort! _________________ When you're curious, you find lots of interesting things to do.

Sorry... I figured this one out when I originally read it. But I will not let CtKnight3 forget that he fell for it...
The sleeping back link was cute. Honestly, I could see a lot of kids wanting one.... |
