My BIG mistake......

OK people, I know you are going to shake your heads or fall down laughing at my stupidity BUT (note to Epiphany: do not continue reading) when I go to Disneyland, I have to use an electic scooter. I rented one at the park because the battery in mine did not recharge enought over night.
Anyway...I wanted to go over to Tom Sawyer's Island (it will always be that to me). I made sure that it was wheelchair accessable! OK..it is. Got over there and went to the cave entrance..wanting to go in, I looked all around for signs saying not to...didn't see any. I eyeballed the clearance and it looked big enough and went in. BIG MISTAKE!!!
I made it to turn 3...couldn't go forward...couldn't go backward...STUCK! Geez...now what? Either I am a bad driver or the cave is just too small. A nice man was in front of me who offered to help. With him at the front and my son at the back...they were able to push-pull me out.
I don't think the chair got too scratched up...sorry Disneyland!

Ok, sorry, but I did get a chuckle outta that. . . . . It's visualizing the scene that makes it funny. Smile

This reminds me of the scene in Austin Powers where he gets the golf cart stuck in the hallway. hehehehehehe

Reminds me of my mother. She somehow stumbled into similar situations.

This will be our first trip to Disney since she passed on... :sigh: Miss her...
