I thought they left it there and it was scraped? |

I'll take that as a correct answer. It was left behind, eventually cut into pieces and unceremoniously dumped. |

With WDWFan away for a time (but hopefully returning soon) I'm going to keep this thread going with a new trivia question. WDWFan gets a free question upon return
Walt Disney struggled with ride capacity concerns for the proposed Haunted Mansion ride for some time. What was the name of the technological innovation that allowed greater control over crowd control? |

Believe they named this ride system the "Omnimover". |

They did! Without it, screaming children would just be wandering through the graveyard.
You're up! |

When the Haunted Mansion was first proposed, there was to be a second - slightly similar attraction - that was going to accompany it. This idea would later be scrapped, but not before planning and sketches had been produced.
What was the name of this sister attraction to the Haunted Mansion? |

I will give you a hint: Walt Disney actually talks about the attraction in the Wonderful World of Color's Disneyland 10th Anniversary Special. Look out for Imagineer Rolly Crump (who I have had the wonderful fortune to meet once - fantastic gentleman!) |

Ice Station Cool? I remember it had that bizarre "caveman" clutching a Coke bottle on the way in. _________________ '00 - Studios Merch (Stage 1/Tatooine Traders/Coaster Photo/Fantasmic), '05-'06 - Attractions (KSR), Dinoland Merch, '06-'07 - Concierge (Multiple Resorts), '07-'08 - Dream Squad (Aminal Kingdom), '10 - DVC Member Services |
