Lots of flooding going on around these parts. I live in the highlands, but my friends down in the valleys have been evacuated from their homes since Tuesday now.

The rivers and streams aren't supposed to peak until late Saturday night into Sunday morning, either.

There's a very large dam in my town, and it keeps our river from getting too bad. Others around us aren't that lucky.

High 70's and sunny here, got an early morning invite to an all day boat party (due to the Japan quake and tsunamis all boats were asked to leave the harbor due to the damage risks from the undercurrent). Sadly had to pass since I had stuff to do.

Also, I will let my assoicate Dr. R (PhD not an MD) respond for me.

Its a beautiful spring like day here in SE New England.

A chilly start only about 28 degrees when I left the house.
But mostly sunny and a high around 47 degrees today. Very Happy

Of course you know if its nice today it will have to rain tomorrow. Rolling Eyes

It might be Spring on the calender but no one told Mother Nature.

We had snow last night, only a heavy coating on the grass and cars but
still snow. Rolling Eyes
Maybe Spring will start next week.

Or maybe we won't have one at all. And people in the rest of the country wonder why we don't put our snow shovels away until Memorial Day, and leave our snow brushes in the car year round.
