Near my home it is still holding at $2.87.

But at two places near where I work in Newport RI it is at $3.05 Sad

Gas went DOWN in a few spots to $2.77.

I think it's a trick to get our hopes up but I hope it is a sign

When I left for work this morning it was 3.39 when i came home it jumped to 3.49. Evil or Very Mad

I can't believe how it can go up so fast, time to start riding my bicycle to work the 15 mile trek each way could do me some good. Gotta get into disney shape for walking the theme parks for hours on end!!!! There is always a positive spin for everything at least that is what I tell myself Very Happy

I did see gas for 2.88 Monday. Who knows what I'll pay tonight. If I didn't live 60 miles from work, I'd be on the bike.

In the past week we have gone from $2.87 and then down to
$2.77 and a few days later up to $2.93 and then yesterday down
again to $2.87.

All these examples do NOT imply that gasoline is cheap; they just illustrate how outrageous some prices are....

You will be really shocked by the last one! (At least, I was...)

Compared with Gasoline......

??? Think a gallon of gas is expensive?

This makes one think, and also puts things in perspective.

??? Diet Snapple 16 oz $1.29 . $10.32 per gallon

??????Lipton Ice Tea 16 oz $1.19 .$9.52 per gallon

Gatorade 20 oz $1.59 ... $10.17 per gallon

?????? ???Ocean Spray 16 oz $1.25 ......... $10.00 per gallon

???Brake Fluid 12 oz $3.15 ........ $33.60 per gallon

Vick's Nyquil 6 oz $8.35 .. $178.13 per gallon

Pepto Bismol 4 oz $3.85 .. $123.20 per gallon

Whiteout 7 oz $1.39 ....... . $25.42 per gallon

Scope 1.5 oz $0.99 .$84.48 per gallon

And this is the REAL KICKER..

Evian water 9 oz $1.49.........$21.19 per gallon! ??? ??? $21.19 for WATER and the buyers don't even know the source.

(Evian spelled backwards is Naive.)

Ever wonder why printers are so cheap?
So they have you hooked for the ink.
Someone calculated the cost of the ink at................
(you won't believe it....but it is true........)
$5,200 a gal. (five thousand two hundred dollars)

So, the next time you're at the pump,be glad your car doesn't run on water, Scope, or Whiteout, Pepto Bismol, Nyquil or God forbid, Printer Ink!

Just a little humor to help ease the pain of your next trip to the pump...

What? NyQuill is cheaper than pot? I'm switching.

And when you need Pepto-Bismol, you don't care what it costs.

As for bottled water, one old timer up in New Hampster (or Cow Hampshire) told my brother, "I nevah thought I'd get my water from a bottle and dirt from a bag!"
