I'm a huge fan of the ambient music that plays throughout the parks. Judging from the requests, it sure seems like the rest of you are as well. I love the subtleness of the background music that plays on every attraction and outside in every land. I knew there had to be some science behind it, that it wasn't just a few speakers strewn about, and this article confirms it: http://dustincurtis.com/how-mr-q-manufactured-emotion.html. This is a link from the Disney Parks blog. An interesting post by a mostly noisy blog.

Neat find. It's very true how much that audio brings to the parks. I often listen for it and start humming along. We have white noise pumped into our office buildings, and it's incredibly noticeable on the rare occasions it cuts out. Thanks for sharing!

interesting article. I've known for a while that they consider the background music very important. Sounds like quite a bit of time and money has been spent on it.

Very nice article. The area music throughout the parks is always the highlight of my trips. Thanks for sharing that.

Of course, that's why we all like this site and others like it. It more about the BGM in the parks than even the attractions themselves.

I honestly think I could have the Space Mountain Star Tunnel BGM music playing permanently in my head, and I'd be OK with that.

So many of my favorite tracks are background and queue music. I could listen to the Sunset Boulevard tracks all day.

I can't begin to explain the effect that all WDW background and attraction music has on my frame of mind, it brings me back to reality and sparks sentimental feelings, thoughts and memories and quickly cure any negative thoughts , images or feelings i may be having at that moment.... Call me weird, but I think its an addiction that I can live with but not without .... Very Happy

You how they say when your blind, your other senses act more forcfully? I think that's why we love UAB so much!

Right now, we are at home, work, school, etc. and obviously away from the parks. Yet when we hear the sounds we normally hear in the parks, despite the fact we are blind right now and can't visually see the parks, we feel like we are there with UAB!

Thanks UAB for being the best all these years! I've been listening to you guys since the beginning! Smile
