I am helping my inlaws plan a trip to WDW this winter and they want to go during Presidents Week. I have heard and read that that week is one of the busier times. Has anyone been during this time and can give me an idea as to just how busy it has been in the past?

Packed.
I dont think it gets to the point where they have to close the parks (ala Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, and Easter), but you can expect long lines everywhere except for Stitch's Escape. |

There are lots of school vacations that week so there are lots of people
there that week.
Weather is also tricky to plan for. One day it is 80+ degrees the next it can be
55 degrees so packing can be a chore. |

Thanks guys!  I appreciate it! We don't have President's Week here in Canada so I didn't fully understand why there would be such a boom in attendance but you cleared it up for me!

Not just that week... that is how our Fall/Winter has been like the last few years. Usually it is hot/warm on the week days and cold on the weekends...

Ive been there during President's Week and its moderate when it comes to crowds but the weather is like everyone else says, "UNPREDICTABLE!!!" 
I would bring a poncho just in case because its rained on occasion during that time of year

Thanks guys! This will help a lot! At least the weather will be better than the -30 weather we will be having here in Ottawa at that time of year but I will definitely tell them to bring their ponchos!
