Ok I am taking some people down to WDW for 1 day. they will have park hopper passes. I feel confident about three parks one day. I have a plan but I know how much fun I have planning these crazy kinda of days and I was wanting to see what the UAB group would come up with. We will not be worried about eating any where special. we are going on 11/12/07 if that helps which it will if you look at whats going on. Anyways I would love to see your ideas.

Well, I'd have to check the Disney site and see the park hours. It depends on what they like (thrill rides vs. shows) but I'd do:

Animal Kingdom the instant that it opens - I've been lucky enough to do this first thing in the morning when the animals are stirring. I'd do this, Everest, Dinosaur, and maybe one of the shows (Lion King, Nemo).

Magic Kingdom - I'd spend the most time here, riding the usual Smile.

MGM Studios - Do TOT, Rock-n-Roller, GMR, Mermaid (if they're into shows), and end the night off with Fantasmic, as this is the best night-time show (eeking past Wishes), IMHO.

Yeah, I left out Epcot. As nostalgic as I am about Epcot, and how beautiful it is, I think it has the weakest attraction lineup of them all. Plus, it's so darn big, that by the time you ride 3 things and walk all across creation, you'll burn up most of your day. It would be nice to do Soarin, Test Track, and the American Adventure, but that's probably 3 hours right there that you could be doing MK.

Kmiller has a really good point. What type of day are you looking for? One full of thrill rides or something slower paced?

I wouldn't do 3 parks. Maybe at most just do 2. That way you don't lose that extra time traveling between parks.

Start off with MGM. Hit the thrill rides early on and maybe a couple shows. Then I'd hit Magic Kingdom. You didn't metion if the people you are taking have been before, but if they haven't, then you can't miss out on the magic of MK. Plus, at night the MK is just that: magic! Also, there are a ton of attractions to choose from there to satisfy the brave to the squeamish.

I agree with Incredibles about doing only 2 parks versus three, but I would pick MK and Epcot. They are both accessible by monorail, so you won't waste to much time traveling. Start out by parking in the Epcot lot, then ride over to MK. Spend all day there and leave just before dinner time. Head over to Epcot and enjoy the rest of the evening, finishing with Illuminations.

How sweet it is!

I'm sorry everyone I forgot to post what I did on my trip. So here is the run down.

Start.
DAK 9:15am
ride. Everest, Safari, and Dino
leave around 11:30am

Drive to Epcot take monorail to mk

get stuck on Mk to park monorail for 20 mins argh

go to city hall get first time button for friend

ride: Spalsh, thunder,watch country bears
eat lunch at Harbour House, wife's favorite counter service at MK,
ride: HM, Pirates, Jungle cruise,
Get a Dole Whip
ride: Space Mountain, It's a small world

this was the first night of MVMCP so we headed over to Epcot
Ride: Test track, Nemo,
Eat dinner at the Counter service in Mexico,
Ride Gran Feista,
Take a walk around World Showcase, Check out shops in Germany, Japan France, England.
Watch Illuminations
Head for home. Time at parks about 12 and three quarters of an hour.

Thank you all for your ideas they were helpful.

You forgot to mention stopping by the all night drug store afterwards to buy Advil, foot powder and band-aids!! Rolling On Floor

Sounds like an amazing day! I think Frank would qualify that as a marathon of sorts!! you should have all been wearing numbers, pouring water on your heads, and had a hord of people waiting for you with ribbons upon the return to your car!!!

Hey, this seems really familiar. I just got through doing this. We did Animal Kingdom, Epoct and Magic Kingdom. We went on Everest twice, saw Nemo, and went on Dinosaur! three times! By that time we had lunch there at12:00. We jammed out of there to Epoct, went on Universe of Energy, Soarin, and Mission Space. That was around 4:00 by that time. Then we spent the rest of our time at Magic Kingdom! THE BEST DISNEY DAY I EVER HAD!!!

Very nice work fireurgunz. I enjoy those days too. not all the time but it is fun sometimes to just jam as much as possible into one day. It becomes a challenge.

If you're traveling in a big group, it's impossible. Laughing
