Trivia Chat Rules & Guidelines

Just so everyone can review before the fun starts, here are the Trivia Chat Rules:


1) Questions will be asked in approx 5 minute intervals and can only be given by the Trivia Chat Moderator.

2) Questions are separated into three categories:
*Parks, questions related to Walt Disney World and Disneyland parks and attractions
*Music; questions related to songs and music related to Disney
*Entertainment; questions related to entertainment aspects of the Disney Company, including movies, television, etc...

3) Questions are also separated into two difficulty levels:
*Easy, worth 1 point
*Hard, worth 2 points

4) When a member gives a correct answer, they pick the next category, however they are unable to answer that question.

5) Questions will be presented and the Chat Moderator will give a 5 count. Once the 5 count has expired, members will be able to post their guesses. Guesses given before the end of the 5 Count will be thrown out.

6) Members can only offer one answer at a time, they must wait until all participating members have offered an answer and have been cleared by the Trivia Chat Moderator. Members are allowed to use whatever method is available to determine the answer to the question.

7) If multiple members give the same correct answer, the member who posted the answer first will be awarded question. Any differences in giving answers will be announced by the Trivia Chat Moderator.

8 ) If a question is disputed, the question will be held and verified after the Trivia chat has ended for the night. Once the dispute has been resolved, the necessary flyer miles will be awarded.

9) Members may use any means at their disposal to answer posted questions, including books, internet searches, etc.

10) At the end of chat, additional Flyer Miles may be awarded at the end of the Trivia Chat, based on the total number flyer miles awarded during the session:
*First Place (most points awarded) - Awarded 10 Flyer Miles
*Second Place (second most points awarded) - Awarded 5 Flyer Miles
*Third Place (third most points awarded) - Awarded 3 Flyer Miles

11) All other UAB Chat Room and Forum Guidelines will be followed and enforced.
