Does anyone know why my UAB app is not working? There are no updates and I am connected to wifi. It flashes open and then closes. Is it a problem with the server or my app?

I haven't used it in a little while, but I just checked, and I'm having the same problem. It opens fully, but when I try to activate it pressing play, the app crashes.

The app needs a bit of an update, anyway. Maybe with a notification of what's playing on the main screen?

Sorry for sounding ignorant to this, but we all are. This is an app that was created by someone who appreciates the site, but did not consult with us on it. Is is unauthorized and unofficial. If you are having issues, you would need to talk to the developer.

He has just removed the app from iTunes and his site, but if you want, please feel free to contact him.

As stated in another thread, we are working to bring you UAB in your home, at your job, and even on the run. Once we have something to announce, we'll be doing so.

WOW! I had no idea it wasn't official! I hope there is an official version soon. I can access UAB via the web on my phone, the app just simplified it. You just can't see any info. Thanks for letting us know!

Well, actually, THANK YOU! We had no idea this app even existed.

Btw, I did down load it, and installed it and it seems to work fine for me.

There is also another app you can use. Search for Shoutcast on iTunes, then download and install that app. The in the app, search for Utilidors and you can select from 2 streams. Depending on your connection, choose which one you'd like.

Yeah, my home theater set-up is much better than my home computer, so I would often dock my iPhone and use the app to stream UAB at home. I can use the Quicktime option to stream it from the website, but the app just made it easier.

I'd love to see a simplified version of the Now Playing page crammed into an official app.

Downloaded Shoutcast. Looks like a pretty good app.
BTW, I don't know if the person who made the UAB app violated any rights or anything, but it is kind of cool that a fan liked UAB enough (and was smart enough) to make an app.

It was done without our permission or knowledge. We do appreciate the initiative he took to create it, we just wish he had consulted with us first.

We want to have more input to look, feel and content since we are responsible for it all. I'm glad we were found as a result of the app, but still should have been done with our knowledge and assistance.
