A little bit smaller. Not much of a clue as I think an Irish Wolfhound is the only bigger dog...

In real life, this dog does have big goofy ears though.

He is a bloodhound. There was an old short where Mickey was being chased. Pluto decided he wanted to be Mickey's friend instead.

I agree he'd have done well voicing Genie, but that's not the answer. In the right neck of the woods, though, as far as the original movie release date.

Sorry, my "clue" wasn't very good. Meant both movies were released in the early to mid 90's, but not necessarily the exact same year. The one I'm looking for came out after Aladdin.
