Meanwhile, here in Tennessee our storm radios are going off. There is supposed to be thunder and lightning tonight, and we're even told there may be a tornado watch or two.

It's been raining non stop since this morning; the pond in the backyard (which is usually froze over this time of year) is overflowing.

Somehow it became spring during the night.

Next couple of days Chamber of Commerce weather in the high sonoran desert, another cold storm headed our way Sunday ... bring on the moisiture to the drought ridden southwest ...

Left Sw Colorado about 8:30 AM today 28 and light snow ... Arrived in the high sonoran desert of Arizona about 4:30 PM mostly sunny and 57 .... Wow what a change ...

So, there was a light dusting of snow at the beginning of the week, then it warmed up to 50s, and now we've plunged back into the 30s. Essentially, I have no idea what jacket to wear when I go out.

Almost Chamber of Commerce weather - 32 when I left the desert to go into the city, supposed to be 70 today, light breezes and no rain in sight ...

Sorrrrrryyyyy ... here in the SW desert, just a little warmer today mid 60s low 70s nights still in low 30s - clear blue skies ....

We warmed up a little today (40s), but they're saying a huge snowstorm is headed our way. No one knows how bad, but someone posted on our city's Facebook that it was going to be " between 0-400 inches of snow"

In my little corner of the SW desert, sunny, high thin clouds upper 60s today, chance to hit 70 this week - Chamber of Commerce weather for sure ... why people come to Arizona in January & February ...

Never got above 30 today; no snow though, which was great for everyone except my daughter (IzzyCats). She was so banking on a snow day.

Several fronts headed our way, a little cooler and possibility of showers ... it was 100 degrees colder in some parts of the midwest than here today .... unbelievable ... stay warm and safe you midwesterners and easterners ...

Good rain over weekend, foggy this am and cloudy all day, rain again tom and snow in the high country ... headed to sw Colorado on Wed, hoping roads are clear and hoping for dry but doesn't look that way ... desert girl does know how to drive in the snow and I have 4 wheel drive to help me along ... Spring not quite here in the southwest yet - but cming soon ... will be a glorious wild flower season ...
