Spammers

Hi gang,

I just wanted to mention that we will get the occasional Spammer that registers here on the site and then will start posting garbage about videos, music, male enhancement, etc. We do our best get rid of these posts and, if they are persistent, I ban them from the site.

I bring this up because yesterday we have another visit from someone who had been here before and was banned. IceCubeMedia. He's now registered under a new name and he's he's been banned again. If you see him on the site again, please don't respond to him. It's great that you are all so welcoming, but some people are not looking to be a member.

Unless you know the person, try and refrain from clicking on any link in a post or signature. Sometimes they will come to the site and not have any links, then they add them to the signature or start posting with links. If you're not sure, just ask. We can check to see if they are legit or not.

Unless we've approved it, no post about a business is allowed here either. We are VERY careful and selective about that type of information and would only approve it if we feel it's good for our members.

Again, thank you all for being the kind and welcoming people you are. You are why everyone is here.

Thanks for the heads up- will watch for this again and not respond - you know me I welcome everyone - thinking they are true fans of what we all love - but guess there are those trying to take advantage of us here too - thanks for keeping our backs

And I very much appreciate the care the Admins show in weeding this stuff out. It makes using the site a lot more enjoyable.
